Read the "four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don't Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don't Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.
Do you believe that today an individual can help effect change in the world?
Definitely

I love camping and getting back to the earth. I love the experience of community living but above all I love love love the amazingness of people...warts and all !!!

I don't practice any religion but respect and honour all, and trust in the universe implicitly. I Support any organisation that works toward improving the living standards of the world. I abore corporate abuse and media manipulation.

I will work to make a difference within the boundaries of my abilities. I am a pacifist and will not fight..but I will use my words where I can. I believe that what is within manifests without. I aim for peace within.

to 'click' or not to 'click' (the 'out of the box' version)

Hello everyone.

Well what can I say..life is full of choices.

Society places rules and regulation around us and as social creatures we obey these rules and regulatons to the best of our abilities to keep the peace and also because someone has told us this is what we must do.

But sometimes we get lost in our socialization and we get caught up in the 'musts' and the shoulds' the 'legalities' and the 'technicalities'

What is she on about..I here a lone voice saying.

To click or not to click o… Continue

For those who know me..I still can't spell.

The death of romance???

Today my husband (of 18 years) forgot to buy me a Valentine card.

So he tore a picture out of ther local "Farmers Journal" of two lambs leaping. Drew a line with a pen pointing to one of the leaping lambs...and wrote ....

"you make me feel like this"

Who says romance is dead !!!

Something interesting happened today..

Something interesting happened today.

I made peace with someone I love. And in that space God revealed its beauty.

Someone whom I love and respect and who has been one of my greatest teachers had been estranged from me.

This was perfect and meant to be, as in our woundedness we had hurt each other and others.

letting go.

Stopped hurting. Stopped trying. Stopped playing the ego game.

What followed for me was grief, anger, hatred, regret, pain, fear

And then when I had shed all of these il… Continue

We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential. Ellen Goodman
