Don't worry about saving these songs!
And if one of our instruments breaks,
it doesn't matter.

We have fallen into the place
where everything is music.

The strumming and the flute notes
rise into the atmosphere,
and even if the whole world's harp
should burn up, there will still be
hidden instruments playing.

So the candle flickers and goes out.
We have a piece of flint, and a spark.

This singing art is sea foam.
The graceful movements come from a pearl
somewhere on the ocean floor.

Poems reach up like spindrift and the edge
of driftwood along the beach, wanting!

They derive
from a slow and powerful root
that we can't see.

~ Generosity ~

" To me , the fact that there is a master, is as simple as there is the sun.
The fact that there is a master is as simple as there is the air.
It is an act of the greatest generosity and the most beautiful kindness.

My father was a master , I was growing up, and I would see him do events, talk to people. And he always wanted for people to elevate, to experience the joy and the divinity , that was in every human being.
And he traveled and he did so many things, to make that possible for people.
To awaken them, to the possibility of that one world which is not marked by the absence but by the presence. He talked about what is , not what isn't .
In my life my master , gave me this wonderful incredible gift of Knowledge and Knowledge was not the only thing he gave me.
In fact what he gave me, besides the gift of Knowledge is equally as important to me in my life .
He gave me his kindness.
He gave me his grace.
He gave me his love. His understanding .
He gave me the time of day .
He gave me something incredibly precious.
The kind of love which nothing can diminish .
That is the love between the master and the student.
This love never leaves you missing something.
It fills you constantly.
Where ever you are , it is there .
That is the kind of love that is given .

In The Arc Of Your Mallet
