it is a matter of time. Within the next couple of years the following states, along with MA and CT which already have marriage, will probably have marriage... CA, NY, NJ, VT, NH, ME, RI, IA. Once DOMA is repealed, that will allow these states to have full marriage rights, now denied by the federal government. This will rise to the Supreme Court where it will be forced to apply the full faith credit clause, the same clause that finally forced all states to allow interracial marriages.

both of their speeches were amazing.
dustin has such an interesting story, coming from a mormon backround.
do you guys think that one day marriage will be legal in all 50 states?
Andrew Comment by Andrew on February 24, 2009 at 5:46am
I saw it 4 times. Each time it gets better. I was so happy that Sean Penn won. Also Dustin Lance Black won best screenplay. His speech was so touching. Check it out on youtube.
